The Glenlivet Provence Edition is the second release in The Glenlivet's Beyond Speyside Series — a 12 year old single malt finished in a combination of French sweet wine casks and Provence Cru Classé casks sourced from Château Sainte Marguerite. The sweet wine casks impart velvety richness and ripe fruit, while the Provence Cru Classé casks add fresh peach notes and a delicate floral lift. On the nose, white peaches in syrup, toasted almonds, and meadow florals. The palate delivers juicy nectarine, vanilla crème brûlée, marzipan, and white chocolate, finishing warm and honeyed with exceptional smoothness.
