Created exclusively for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, this absorbent sandstone coaster features Martin Johnson Heade's painting Orchid and Hummingbird, 1885 and is the perfect way to bring the de Young's permanent collection home. The stone coaster lets condensation sink in, keeping your furniture safe from staining and discoloration. If your coaster becomes stained, soak in hot water with a mild liquid detergent for 60 minutes, rinse thoroughly, and let air dry. For stubborn stains, use one part household bleach and three parts hot water and soak overnight. Made in the USA. Measures 4 x 4 in.
The de Young museum, designed by Herzog & de Meuron and located in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, showcases the institution's significant collections of American painting, sculpture, and decorative arts from the 17th to the 21st centuries; art from Africa, Oceania, and the Americas; costume and textile arts; and international modern and contemporary art.
