St Tikhon of Moscow, Patriarch - icon550 - 6 inch

The holy Patriarch Tikhon of Moscow, who refused to compromise the freedom of the Church even under Soviet threat, is depicted in this modern Russian icon as a confessor and witness to the faith. His anathematization of those who participated in the Bolshevik terror and his steadfast pastoral governance are a permanent legacy to the Russian Orthodox Church.
