Tullibardine's 15 Year Old was distilled following the reopening of the distillery in 2003 and matured in first-fill bourbon casks in traditional warehouses at the foot of the Ochil Hills in Perthshire, Scotland. The nose is delicate and inviting — dried hay, parma violets, baked apple, cloves, and vanilla ice cream. On the palate, freshly baked scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream marry with gentle spice, finishing with a subtle nuttiness. A pleasantly nostalgic single malt that captures the warmth of a Scottish summer afternoon.
